Impacto en la Comunidad de Caficultores
La certificación de los jóvenes catadores, impactará a 385 socios de la CoopBAM con los conocimientos y habilidades adquiridas por los becados en el curso de catación
Además de los 124 donantes, tuvimos participantes que fueron piezas clave para que nuestra campaña sea efectiva

¿Why should we protect the Alto Mayo Forest?
This protected natural area supplies all of Peru with natural resources, fauna and flora for research. Economic development benefits the villagers with sustainable agriculture, ecotourism, and social development initiatives.

We want to strengthen the capacities of the community of coffee growers and tasters to improve more and more of this coffee that protects nature.

Help us syoung coffee tasters get internationally certified as Q-graders so that they can keep improving the quality of their coffee that protects the forest

Coffee farmers decide to abandon logging and instead reforest and plant coffee in the shade of trees and among them
Trees protect the plant from UV rays while constantly nourishing the soil
Technical specialists and young coffee tasters provide assistance on how to improve the quality and flavor of their coffee
Coffee farmers increase their income and production, reusing soils and conserving the forest
What we will accomplish with your contribution
Funds are collected by Profonanpe, the peruvian enviromental fund, a private entity internationally acredited by the Green Climate Fund that works hand in hand with Sernanp, the public organization in charge of managing Peru's national parks and protected areas.

A better coffee ensures the conservation of the forests and the Mayo River in Peru
Young coffee caterers provide constant feedback to coffee growers on how to improve the production of their grain.
When a farmer increases the quality of his coffee, he improves his production and his income increases.
Fewer hectares are required for cultivation and the space deforested for agriculture is reduced.
The natural areas are well cared for, guaranteeing quality air, biodiversity conservation and naturally filtered water from the Mayo River, which supplies many communities in Peru.
Guardians of the Forests
The members of the communities, professionals in charge of managing the forest and the park rangers who carry out surveillance and security work, are essential for forest conservation and sustainability within the protected area.
Together they guarantee the future of BPAM forests so that local communities and people from around the world can benefit from this natural ecosystem.
